napalm death
if the truth be known
i have lost interest in a lot of exploration, many due to the unexplored shelf is trivial for what is asked of me.
i did enjoy a jolly pumpkin brewing company take on a flanders. the bottle looked silly for all the mess the brewers had to go through for the final product. the beer was able to stand on it’s own. completely jarring my lager lock.
what is next a imperial ipa?
how about a wizard stick making beer.
the kegorator as been wisked outside and the tap was driven through the wall. my house is lethal with the right amount of lethargy.
got a carlsburg for 6.50 at the kiss show. raised it to “black diamond.” the crowd tossed some beers around during “cold gin” or was it “detroit rock city.” paul stanley is a old jewish mother.
have you listened to lamb of god? sounds like a checklist.
the bar is stale just as much of this town. and he stays at the bar for 8 hours swilling liter mugs, wringing out the beard after each piss. and i will save up to complete the list.
neil young can make your life seem insincere.
My Dear Lovers,
Nothing arouses me more than seeing you getting off on me. It makes me work that much harder to please you. My body is yours, yours is mine. We explode together. When I’m on stage, I’m yours …. take me.
Paul Stanley

Okay so really this metal kick is not dying down (yay?) and a lot of it has been Megadeth and my God outside of the weird lens of tweendom they really were something, weren’t they? At the height of their powers they were so in control of their instruments that they weren’t so much a proggy thrash band as they were electric jazz in the Second Quintet mode — no matter how fast or heavy they played they were always supremely tuneful, the riffs sticky and triumphant. And they just kept coming, seemingly conceived, gestated, and spawned full-grown at the speed of thought. And they’re so tight! The way the bits of song fit together and work against and with each other is really astounding. They had within them the entire knowledge of where rock music had been, and it was all ready for them at their fingertips. There was a serious sense that this band could just go on forever, and there’s still cause to be excited at that prospect. (Plus, as childish and petulant and vulgar as some of Dave’s wordplay could be, a lot of it is really dense and compelling! Cartoonishly literary.)
megadeth is not a party, it is a cynical binge. he is obsessed with cutting everyone down with his razor sharp riffing. megadeth is the odd thrash band. their song structures refuse to be comparable. more of a focus on a manic. he is brilliant. when they thrash it is precise. opposed to their brethren’s monotony. i feel dave and metallica where better off separate. dave needed complete control and metallica needed comfort.
so brutal truth is opening for municipal waste and danny lilker is all “did i not write Fist Full of Metal. wtf bro.”
